Kindergarten MADE EASY
Did you ever wonder, “What do kindergartners learn?” or “How do I make sure I’m teaching my kindergartner what he’s supposed to know?”
How do you keep kindergarten simple AND enjoyable for your family?
How do you stay focused on kindergarten goals no matter what curriculum you choose?
How do you even begin to choose a curriculum?
All those questions and more are answered in my mini-course, Kindergarten Made Easy!
I’m previewing the Reading/Language Arts portion of Kindergarten Made Easy. The entire package comes with PE, Science, MATH, the Arts, and Social Studies, along with some added bonuses like a CURRICULUM GUIDE, printable certificates, and more!
Often, parents who choose to homeschool are still unsure about whether or not they will put their child in a traditional school later on and it is of utmost importance to them that their child doesn’t “fall behind.”
Let’s take a look at Kindergarten Reading and Language Arts:
The standards I pulled are the Common Core Standards. Many states still follow these standards as their guide. Some of the states that say they do not follow the common core standards, but in reality they have simply changed the name and few minor things. Essentially they are still following these standards. At any rate, at the kindergarten level, they are similar to anything you’d find in a kindergarten classroom.
There are two sections: the STANDARDS and the MADE EASY pages.
The Made Easy pages allow you to help your child learn without overburdening your child with assignments and lots of worksheets.
Here are the STANDARDS pages for English/Language Arts:
Now, let’s take a look at the MADE EASY versions:
This is how you accomplish having a child that can reach all those standards while experiencing a fun and laid-back kindergarten.
Remember, this is a sample of the English and Language Arts portion of Kindergarten Made Easy. The entire mini-course includes a total of 50 pages of resources and tools you can use to pair with any curriculum you choose or pair with a homemade curriculum as well. You’ll even get advice on building a kindergarten portfolio if you choose!
